59 | Before the Lavender Blooms

Episode Title: Before the Lavender Blooms
When Life Feels Unfinished
Have you ever felt like life is moving faster than your soul can keep up?
In this episode, I’m sharing a story from our unfinished patio project. As we worked on the patio, sparrows kept landing on the stones before anything looked finished or beautiful.
Around the same time, our hummingbirds disappeared for a few days after all the noise around the house. Then the lavender plants I hoped to plant around the patio arrived fragile from the summer heat.
A Reminder From Luke 12
All of it reminded me of Luke 12:6-7, where Jesus tells us that God does not forget even one sparrow.
Sometimes God meets us before the lavender blooms. Before the project feels complete, the disappointment resolves, and everything feels settled.
If you feel tired, stretched thin, or waiting for something fragile to live, I pray this episode reminds you that God sees you right where you are.
