Praying Scripture for Worship | Christian Self Care & Bible Memorization – Rooted + Rested Podcast

In this week’s episode of Rooted + Rested, we continue our Scripture prayer series by shifting our focus to worship—starting not with our needs, but with the truth of who God is.

After beginning last week with surrender (“Not by my strength… not by my might… but by Your Spirit” – Zechariah 4:6), this week we take a step deeper into resting in His character.

Through simple, memorized Scripture and gentle reflection, you’ll be invited to slow down, quiet the noise, and return your heart to truth.

This Week’s Focus: Worship

Worship isn’t just singing…
It’s a posture of the heart.

It’s remembering:

  • God is great
  • God is good
  • God is faithful

And letting that truth settle deep within you.

Praying Scripture - Week 2 - Worship and memorization of Psalm 86:10 and Psalm 100:5

How to Practice This Week

As you go through your day, you can:

  • Memorize the full verses

  • Or pray the Scripture and add your own words

There’s no pressure to get it perfect.

Just something simple…
something you can carry with you.
