Our Lavender Tallow Soap is named faithfulness because there is something to be said about using good ole’ faithful, ancient ingredients, like Tallow. Our secret ingredient in our soap is Tallow. Some of the first soaps in the first century were made in the Roman Empire with Tallow. In recent decades most commercial soap makers have swapped tallow for vegetable oils such as palm oil. A big factor in this transition was that these vegetable oils are cheaper.

We still use tallow in our soaps because it has a range of benefits for your skin. Not only does it contain beneficial vitamins and antioxidants, but tallow is packed full of the same lipids that are needed for healthy skin. Because tallow and our skin oils share similar concentrations of lipids and other fats, tallow absorbs easily into the skin and doesn’t irritate sensitive skin. While many soap bars leave your skin feeling dry and tight, tallow makes for a rich and creamy soap bar!

Our products are crafted in small batches using simple, natural ingredients – including our homegrown lavender and distilled oil and the best part is without any synthetic ingredients and chemicals such as synthetic perfumes, colors, parabens, sulfates, phthalates, formaldehyde-releasing ingredients, and petroleum.

We’ve carefully formulated our products and users will enjoy the lavender aromatherapy, as well as the amazing skin benefits from the combination of natural ingredients used in each product.

This collection begins with an 8 oz. lavender soy candle and is made with pure lavender essential oil distilled on our small home lavender farm. Each product has a short devotion on the label that pertains to the Fruit of the Spirit it has been named after. Light your candle, use your products, and study God’s Word for the whole experience.
