A hydrosol is the “water element” extracted through the steam distillation process of a plant. However, it is not simply water. It is water plus minute quantities of an essential oil. There are absolutely no synthetics in this process – just nature in its purest form!
Our lavender hydrosol is a completely natural derivative of our lavender essential oil distillation process made at our home in Northeast Ohio. Our lavender hydrosol for this product comes from True Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia)…which is especially recognized for its calming properties. With earthy and sweet grassy undertones this wonderful lavender flower water makes for a delightful aromatherapy spray or even a body mist. Use as a facial or body mist before applying serums, as aromatherapy, or cool down post-workout on a hot summer day!
